Timberland - Full Time Sales Specialist (32hours) Key Holder

To provide an efficient and effective sales service to customers, ensuring that the highest standards of customer care are maintained. Working in co-operation with all other sales staff to ensure the team are committed to maximizing sales.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a team to sell and promote Timberland merchandise with superior customer service.

• Demonstrate accuracy in all Point of Sales functions.

• Receive deliveries of incoming shipment and stock.

• Maintain backstage standards in the stockroom and staff areas.

• Keep the store clean and tidy at all times.

• Play your part in ensuring that merchandise is displayed in line with Timberland guidelines.

• Correctly administer inter store/distribution centre transfers.

• Demonstrate a high degree of security consciousness to protect Timberland’s assets.

• Follow health and safety guidelines.

• Carry out other tasks as requested by store management.

   

Skills and experience required:

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

Interest in retail and/or fashion. Previous work experience in a retail environment preferred.

• Strong communication skills, and the desire to provide superior customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly, and as part of a team.
• Ability to find simple solutions to problems.
• Ability to follow clear direction and take ownership for delivering results.
• Ability to distinguish between a good and poor shopping experience.
• Confidence in use of information technology preferred.
• Must have previous key holder/sales experience
